Information is collected when it is submitted directly through a form on this site, such as a quote request, an account registration or a written message. The categories collected include:

• Name, email address and phone number
• Property address and details about the building, its age and its construction
• Details about belongings kept at the property and any existing coverage
• Account credentials created during registration
• The content of messages sent through the contact form

Some technical information is also gathered automatically, including browser type, device type, approximate region and the pages visited on this site.

Information is used to prepare home insurance quotes, present coverage options, answer questions and administer accounts. It is also used to keep records accurate, to improve how the site works and to meet legal or regulatory obligations that apply to insurance activity.

Information submitted for one purpose is not repurposed for something unrelated without a further request for permission.

Where consent has been given during sign up, text messages may be sent about a home insurance inquiry. Service messages cover quote confirmations, coverage updates, policy reminders and follow ups on a submitted request. Marketing messages cover home insurance plans and promotional offers.

Consent for marketing messages is separate from consent for service messages, and neither is a condition of obtaining a quote. Replying STOP ends messages and replying HELP requests support. Standard message and data rates may apply and frequency may vary.

Records are kept for as long as an account or policy relationship is active, and afterwards only for the period required to meet legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting obligations. Once no longer needed, information is deleted or anonymised.

Technical and organisational safeguards protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include encrypted connections, restricted access to records and regular review of the systems in use. No method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as entirely secure, so any submission carries some inherent risk.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information held about you, ask for corrections, request deletion, or object to certain processing. Marketing communications can be stopped at any time using the unsubscribe instructions in a message.

Requests can be sent using the contact details in section 12 and a response will be provided within the period the applicable law allows.

This site is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed at children. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under that age. If such information is identified, it will be removed from the records.
